cDNA Library Construction and Normalisation Services

Construction of a high-quality full-length cDNA library can sometimes take months.
We can save your time and give you a guaranteed result.

cDNA library construction is a key step for gene discovery through EST sequencing or analysis of full-length cDNA. We offer a service for construction of cDNA and genomic libraries. As part of the service we provide normalisation of the cDNA library, which enables the reduction of the number of copies for abundant transcripts. Normalisation is especially effective for equalising the number of differentially expressed genes in specialised tissues or specific cell populations for preparing a randomly cloned cDNA library.

We start with as little as 1 µg of total or polyA+ RNA

Customer provides:
Source material and requirements. Please email us with your requirements and ask for a free estimate before placing an order.
Please contact Yorkshire Bioscience team to discuss options for the source material delivery.

Our service includes:
Full-length cDNA library construction with average size of individual cDNAs at 0.5-4.5 kb depending on the RNA source
Library normalisation – equalising numbers of abundant and depleted transcripts

 Payment:
On completion of the project.

Duration: 20-30 working days.

Price guide:
Prices start from £4,750 for a basic package. Normalization is extra £1000-£1700 depending on starting material.
