cDNA Library Construction and Normalisation Services
Construction of a high-quality full-length cDNA library can sometimes take
months.
We can save your time and give you a guaranteed result.
cDNA library construction is a key step for gene discovery through EST
sequencing or analysis of full-length cDNA. We offer a service for construction
of cDNA and genomic libraries. As part of the service we provide normalisation
of the cDNA library, which enables the reduction of the number of copies for abundant transcripts. Normalisation is especially effective for equalising the number of
differentially expressed genes in specialised tissues or specific cell
populations for preparing a randomly cloned cDNA library.
We start with as little as 1 µg of total or polyA+ RNA

Our service includes:
Full-length cDNA library construction with average size of individual
cDNAs at 0.5-4.5 kb depending on the RNA source
Library normalisation – equalising numbers of abundant and depleted transcripts
