We offer a service for cloning of known and unknown sequences of DNA from plasmid, cosmid, genomic DNAs, total or polyA+ RNAs and cDNA libraries.
Genomic material of many organisms is not available from public cell collections. We have access to private and academic cell collections and can source genomic DNA, cDNA or RNA of the organism you are looking for. Conditions for cloning of known sequences are described below. For cloning of unknown DNA (no records in databases) please contact our research team.

Customer provides:
Template DNA or RNA, or their description.
Sequence of the DNA to be cloned.
Vector or description of the vector for the DNA to be cloned into.
 

Our service includes:
Design of oligonucleotides for PCR or RTPCR
Cloning into the vector of your choice
Sequencing of target DNA in both directions
Plasmid purification

Duration: 2-5 weeks; allow up to 1 month extra if the template DNA/RNA is not available in collections
 

Customer receives:
Detailed report on the experiments and data obtained
At least 1.0 µg of the vector containing cloned DNA

Price does not include the cost of sequencing of PCR products longer than 500 bp (£30 per extra 1 kb) or the cost of template DNA or RNA. We reserve the right to refuse requests at our discretion for genes / sequences from hazardous organisms.
