The electroporation cuvettes have been manufactured to strict quality control criteria whilst maximising design features for ease of use and improved results. The 1mm cuvettes are designed for bacteria that require a high electric field as some gram positive bacteria e.g. up to 35KV per cm.  The 2mm cuvette are for all types of bacteria, yeast and fungi. The 4mm cuvettes are ideally suited to mammalian and human cells.

NEW
The latest cuvette design includes a new cap that facilitates easier aseptic techniques without comprise to handling, and also reduces aerosol contamination produced by arcing.

Industry Size
Are compatible with most common electroporation apparatus.

Bio-tested
All materials used have been tested to optimise transformation efficiencies, in some specific cases further washing and treating is performed to maximise bio-compatibility for improved gene transfer.

Highly Engineered
The aluminium electrodes have been chemically and physically cleaned to obtain a uniform electrode surface for consistent pulse generation. Furthermore, the cuvettes are manufactured using high quality polycarbonate material.

Precision Built
The moulding technique gives high precision tolerances and a low dead volume by including a V-form in the base that enables easy sample loading and pick-up which in turn may prove a cost saving e.g. min loading volume is 10µl in the 1mm model and 20µl in the 2mm model.

Colour Coded
The electroporation cuvette caps are all individually colour coded for size. Brown for 1mm, Green for 2mm, Blue for 4mm.

Sterile Guaranteed
Each cuvette is individually wrapped and gamma irradiated.
